The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) is the advertising industry’s self regulating body in New Zealand. The ASA has many Codes that advertisers are expected to follow, with the most useful for healthcare issues being the Therapeutic Products, Therapeutic Services and Ethics Codes.

To make it easy to complain about a product that breach these Codes, the ASA has an online complaint form.
